#1 Custom Web Design Package

Ask for our custom design package when you want a site that is high impact or unique, as well as polished, professional and search engine friendly! We've included everything you need for an effective and --impressive--website. (If you know your design needs are simpler, see our Kick Start Website Package below.)

The Custom Web Design Package includes consulting on your content, search engines, updates and promotion of your new site. Complete list below.

For those located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the initial meeting will usually take place in person. Subsequent meetings usually take place by phone.

Here's what's included:

• One year of hosting*
• domain name registration, if needed**
• 2-3 hours consulting on what content to include, review of content, updates and promotion of site
• 1 hour of light editing
• homepage design
• preparation of one page for search engines--usually homepage
• 1 hour consulting on search engine strategy and registration with free search engines
• special feature like an email contact form, location map and possibly other
• up to two hours of text or photo updates in the three months after site launch***

Here’s the process step-by-step:

1. Discussion of content, layout, look, updates and search engine strategy (in person, or by phone and email)
2. Content ready or 80% complete
3. Review desired look of site and organization of content
4. Homepage design submitted to you
5. Fine tune design
6. Arrange domain name and hosting (if not already set-up)
7. Fine tune content and text, light editing
8. Launch site--some minor text changes continue for up to three months
9. Register with free search engines and premium search engines, if desired

Note about number of pages: Standard fees cover 12 complex pages (with many pictures, complicated text layout, etc.) or up to 40 less complex pages.

#2 Kick Start Website Package

Clean and professional design is effective for most business websites. The affordable Kick Start Website Package includes the same stand out consulting services included in our custom package. We will help you plan your content, review your draft, plan for updating the site and build your site to be search engine friendly.

You choose the colors and photos or graphics and send us your logo and your content. Your site can go up in days if you have your content ready.

The Kick Start Website Package also includes a three-month warranty and update contract, one year of hosting and two year domain name registration, if needed.

#3 Web Copy and Design Package

The Web Copy and Design Package is the right choice for you if you want a professional to write or help write your web marketing copy, as well as web design. You might be very busy running your business or you might prefer to have a marketing professional handle the marketing copy.

We will help you complete up to seven sections of web copy. Together we will decide what sections are needed to establish your expertise. Please call to discuss as this package will be customized for your business and needs.

We'll ask you some questions about your Website plans, marketing and business goals. With that information we can provide you a rough estimate. This free consultation takes about 15 minutes.

* One year of FREE hosting by Almost-Everything Communications for one year from the date your site launches. This offer applies to basic sites. Sites requiring secure e-commerce hosting or more then 100 megs of server storage or other special features will require an independent service that we will assist you in setting up. At the end of one year your hosting fees with us will be $7/month or $48/year ($4/month). The account includes 5 email boxes and unlimited email forwarding.

** Domain name hosts: Your domain name will be registered in your name and will be free for two years. Domain administrator tools will be provided by a third-party domain registration service. Details for account access will be provided at the time of registration.

*** 3 months of free updates after launch. We understand that once a site is live, you may view the site a little differently, not to mention that you may receive feedback from others. Our packages are structured to cover this "shake-down" period when you might want to make slight revisions to your marketing text. Updates do not include radical or significant design changes. Our design process is intended to cover all design changes before the site is launched. Additionally, the technical function site is guaranteed unconditionally for a period of one year from the launch date. This means that we will fix any flaws found in the site when viewed through one of the major browsers. Or if one of the major browsers goes through a change that breaks something on the site. We strive to make our sites compatible with all commonly used browsers, but cannot guarantee against all changes in the more obscure browsers. Major browsers include versions of Internet Explorer (which includes AOL), Mozilla (Firefox), Safari and Opera released within the last three years.
